Newport Beach Film Festival: Retrospective Awesomeness!

Hellooo! Yesterday was an AMAZING day! I would've posted what I did yesterday but I had to go to sleep early... Plus I was tuckered out from being SO excited during the day.

I went an awesome film festival that was featuring the extended edition of The Fellowship of the Ring. It is the 15th birthday of the film this year so they decided to show it! Which is really awesome of them!
"We're Being Watched" is the theme of the festival this year
We(me, my parents, and Liah) got free tickets to see it which convinced my parents to stay for the movie *fist pump*!

They had a backdrop of the barrel scene from The Desolation of Smaug. There was a barrel we could sit in and weapons to hold for a picture. My sister, Liah, took a picture in the barrel.

And as for me, myself, and I, being the chicken that I am, did not get into the barrel. But I did take a picture on the red carpet! Hiding behind my book of course :)

Don't I look awesome or what?!
There was a costume contest, which I took part of. I must admit that THIS outfit made me stand out much more than the one I wore for Halloween last year.  No one asked who I was so I'm guessing they couldn't tell... (I don't know if you can see the outfit but I don't have a better picture right now. But come by again soon and I might have more pictures!)

Anyway someone ACTUALLY asked if I was a Hobbit and I am SO proud. Yes I was at a LOTR event and maybe I knew people would know I was supposed to be a Hobbit but hey, THEY NOTICED. So that's all that matters right?

There weren't as many people as I had expected but I met a new friend! Her name is Wolfy! She was dressed up as The Eye of Sauron! Don't have a picture of her costume. Bummer... It was COOL!

Well I must get to school work, my friends. Will this school year ever end? It's taking too long for summer to come! Although the weather has turned unexpectedly summery. Is that a word? Yes it is. Yay! I will be using that word now. I must leave you once more. I wish you all a good day!

Lullaby for a Princess

Hello all! First off, I want to say sorry for my empty promises about fulfilling the long overdue Bookshelf tag. I'm being confirmed on the 30 of April and it's been crazy around the house.

Anywho, I heard this song on YouTube and cried a lot the first time I heard it(this is a FAN MADE song by the way). I'm determined to learn it on the piano so I can play it for my sisters this Christmas. Even if you don't have a younger sister (or sibling), it gives you an idea about how others (or I) feel sometimes. Or maybe you're the youngest. This might help you understand what your older siblings feel, if they feel this way. You are not obliged to listen to it but I encourage you to. Anyway here it is.

It's such a great example about how much older siblings love the younger ones even if they don't show it. Who knows? I might even record my cover and post it here! It's such a good song. I hope you are all doing well!

Catch Up Again: Sobs and Jumps

Hello all! I'm back for a short while to sob and jump up and down. I will get that bookshelf tag done tomorrow, I PINKIE SWEAR!

First of all, the sobs. Last night was the last episode of American Idol. *sobs* ALL OF THE GOOD 'CRYING-YOUR-HEART-OUT' GIFS COMING RIGHT AT YOU.

Second. jumping up and down. I CAN'T BELIEVE HE WON! I AM SO HAPPY! XD

The only reason I am not speaking of who won is because I don't know if you watch the show and didn't see the finale. Oh my goodness I will miss that show so much. All of my sisters came and we watched it together. My second oldest sister recorded our reactions to the results and I was freaking out. It was hilarious to see myself freak out. And I asked, "Was I really freaking out that bad?!"

She showed the video to me again this morning and her description was hilarious. My dad was making noises right before Ryan said the results. My mom yelled "STOP IT!" right before my other two sisters were like, "HIM! HIM!" (Him and he replaces the winner's name. You're welcome spoiler freaks!) And then Ryan Seacrest announced "HIM!" All you could hear was screaming and maniacal laughing in the background. Then 'he' who had just won was crying so we were like "AWW!" Then my dad rolled his eyes. He performed his winning song and there was confetti. His song was so good. He had performed it the day before but IT WAS STILL SO GOOD!

AND IT GETS EVEN BETTER! Last night my friend told me that the Star Wars: Rogue One (My bad. I thought it was for Episode 8 but it wasn't. Thanks Cordy!) trailer came out! I was screaming, "WHY DIDN'T ANYONE TELL ME THIS EARLIER BEFORE IDOL STARTED?!" My sister was like, "Oh yeah! I forgot. IT WAS SO GOOD." And I was like, "NOT HELPING." Anyway go watch it! Actually I will put it here for you! You're welcome! (THIS IS THE ACTUAL TRAILER. SORRY!)

Catch ya later dudes! Have a happy Friday!
