And I Am Back!

Hello from the other side of the screen! And by that I mean YOU! All of you!

(Okay I have been running out of introductions so please excuse the one above.)

So, on June 19 I left for Europe to go on pilgrimage! It was a very looooong flight. Especially since I came from Middle-Earth and all...

So I was in Europe for 25 days! Well, Italy and France. It was an amazing experience and I did a lot of things. I mean we. We did a lot of things. No, Frodo and Bilbo did not come along but my family and friends on Earth did. There was a total of 11 pilgrims! Yes we were a traveling circus and drove around in a clown car. 11 people in a 9 seated van is not a nice ride. But it was a great time no doubt. We have been back for about 2 weeks and 3 days!

Well of course I'm going to show you pictures! What kind of blogger would I be if I didn't share pictures with you all?! I also snuck in some video for you!

The thing about Saint Therese's body... it's not incorrupt. It's her bones and what's left of her body covered in wax. This is also the case with Saint Padre Pio.

We went to the Vatican as well but I didn't want to make this post too long. And I couldn't find pictures with me NOT in it.

And of course I had to miss all the fun stuff on Blogger while I was away! Like LoverofLembas' Palantir Podcast and all of your other posts!

Speaking of posts, my new schedule for the upcoming school year is pretty crammed so I'm warning you ahead of time. Blogging has been pushed back to the end of the day. I have blogging set for Mondays, Tuesday, Wednesdays (if I don't go to LifeTeen), and of course the weekends (if there are no family parties or a huge to do list of yard work).

So I hope to bring some new additions to the blog soon! Maybe this week?! I'm not sure yet but if I can, you'll be getting a movie review from me and a few friends!

If you have any questions or would like further detail about a specific place, please leave a comment and I'll reply post haste!

Have a blessed Sunday!

  1. Wow! I was wondering where you had gone for so long. I've always wanted to go to Europe but I never have. Was this your first time or have you been before? You're so lucky to get to go to the Vatican and all these beautiful locations!!

I particularly like that statue of St. Francis looking over Assisi.

Don't worry that you missed the podcast when it came out, at least you were able to listen afterwards (plus they'll be coming out each month from now on anyway). I'm glad you're back and that movie review sounds intriguing!

That's one of my favorites too! I absolutely love Le Celle. It's really peaceful and quiet.

Yep! I was glad to finally listen to it :D

Oh good! Hopefully I'll be recording it this week ;)
