The Hobbit 30 Day Challenge: Day 29

Tomorrow is the last day of this challenge! And I am ready to cross another goal! :D

The scene I was most excited to see was the riddles between Gollum and Bilbo. That was one of my favorite parts of the book. Obviously, you can tell because I've memorized a lot of riddles haha XD

I was also REALLY excited to see Beorn! He's awesome. I liked how they made that one part where we actually got to see him transform. SO COOL!

And I was SO excited to see the dinner at Bag End. I loved that the dwarves actually sang "Blunt the Knives"! And of course "Far Over Misty Mountains" but still...

BRAVA! Don't you just love that song?!

Which scene were you most excited to see? Anyone crossed/about to cross a goal yet?

  1. Just completed another read through of LOTR--I suppose you could say I crossed a goal! I was excited to see the Lonely Mountain and Laketown and what they might look like.

    1. Bravo! What count are you on so far?
      Ooh! Definitely!
How's you letter coming along? I've got "To whom it may concern:" and that's it...

    2. Not quite sure...since I've been keeping track this is only my third time around, but I only started keeping track in June. Not much progress on the letter...maybe I'll post it on my blog today and we can get suggestions from all the readers who want to contribute to it. A petition of sorts!

    6. Haha!
I found something good and something bad.
On the Coke website you can personalize bottles (good!), however, they probably won't print our name suggestion since they want us to pay them to personalize it. https://buy.shareacoke.com/

    7. Ugh, DARN YOU CRUEL BUSINESS PEOPLE! WHY DO YOU MAKE IT SO HARD?! Oh well. It was a nice thought though...
Anything about Google? They're probably the same way, huh?
Actually, now that I think of it, it would be kind of hard for Google to translate into elvish because they would have to get rights from Tolkien. And even if they did, I don't think the elvish language has every word that we have in our dictionary. IS THERE ANYTHING ELSE I SHOULD KNOW ABOUT BEFORE I GET MY HOPES UP?! Gosh, the world is so unfair. Thanks for being on board with me though. It was nice of ya :)

    8. Hmm, I think you're right. The elvish languages are close to being complete, but probably not enough to have direct translations. It was a good idea, though.
Haha, I think the world is conspiring against us ;) I wish it could have worked out.
