The Hobbit 30 Day Challenge: Day 25/26/27

ALRIGHT FINE! YOU CAN KILL ME FOR LEAVING YOU HANGING. But I wouldn't if I were you because we have Three. More. Days. Oh my goodness! WHAT TIME IS IT?! COUNTDOWN TIME! XD

You mean, what WAS my biggest fear for the movies? It was actually that they would make it an action film. When I read it for the first time, it was so light hearted and less intense than LOTR. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE LOTR. But I was young and wasn't ready to read the intense evil LOTR had. I knew very little of evil when I was younger. I knew it was there, but I wasn't exposed, I guess is the word I was looking for. So yeah, I would've liked it better if it wasn't as serious... Sorry I'm cutting it short because we have a lot of work to do.

Ha! You mean, how DID I think they were going to be split up?! Three movies, of course. Every time I think about this question these two memes come into my mind...

Hilarious... But I kind of liked them spread out into the movies.

This is you. Right. Now.
Seriously! I wasn't there when LOTR can't out in theaters so this gave me the chance to be at the theaters for a Hobbit marathon. It was an awesome experience. The seats reclined and everything. Okay Day 27. Man, how time flies! XD

Definitely against the Mirkwood spiders. It creeped me out but I liked it. Wait a sec, does that count? Well if it doesn't, then my other favorite is against the trolls. How the dwarves are jumping and running all over the place. It was SO cool...

I hoped you liked this crazy fast post. So, what WAS your biggest fear for the movies? And how DID you think the movies would be spread out? And what is the best fighting sequence, in your opinion?

Comments

  1. I was worried (after I saw the trailers) there would be too much gruesome action and it might be too serious for the book it was adapting. I don't want to get into a rant about the movies now, so I'll just say that may or may not have happened. Best fighting sequence was definitively Legolas vs. Spiders, at least when I first saw it--it was nice to see him back on the big screen.
