The Hobbit 30 Day Challenge: Day 28
TWO MORE DAYS! And I actually got around to posting! Go, me! XD
Eek, this is hard. Um, if I could get away with not fighting ANY monsters that would be great, haha.
But, if I absolutely had to pick one monster, I would choose either a spider of Mirkwood or a troll. I've killed one spider already so I'msort of sure I could kill another.
I haven't fought any trolls yet. But I'm pretty sure I could take one down. Although it took 13 dwarves to handle three and in the end they were all in sacks about to be cooked. Okay, maybe I'm not sure I could handle one on my own but I might. I, FOR SURE, could not handle Gollum, Smaug, goblins, orcs, Wargs, Barrow-wights, or Ringwraiths. Basically, I am pretty defenseless right now. I kind of shrink down and/or run away. But with some practice I should be able to protect myself... hopefully. I'm hoping to get my confidence level up soon and start defending myself. :D
So what about you? Which monster would you choose if you had to face one? Do you think you could protect yourself? Am I the only one who is pretty/just plain defenseless? And please let me know if you find anyone who could teach me some valuable fighting skills relatively close to The Shire (see what I did there? HA! XD). Thank you and have a great day!

I would die instantly. Unless, of course there was someone there to protect me (i.e. Aragorn, Gandalf, Legolas, etc.). Hmm, there are some rangers on the boarders of the Shire who could probably teach you a thing or two about defense ;)
